Medisoft Interface

QuickEMR can interface with Medisoft by importing patient, case, physician, insurance, and diagnosis information. Going the opposite way, QuickEMR can export all charges entered by therapists on Daily Visit Notes back to the Medisoft system.

To set up the Medisoft interface, select the appropriate options on the screen below found under File->Options and then clicking on the Billing tab.

The option to use the Medisoft assigned provider will determine which therapist will be entered for the charge detail line item in Medisoft. If this option is checked, the assigned provider in Medisoft will always appear on charge detail lines. If it is not checked, the provider whose name appears on the Daily Visit Note will appear on charge detail lines.

For version 9 of Medisoft, the billing tables location will be the folder that contains the Medisoft data tables for your practice. For version 10 and 11, point to the "mwddf.add" file for your practice as shown above.
