PTOS Billing

QuickEMR can interface with PTOS by importing silently in the background all new patients added to PTOS. In order for the interface to run smoothly, there are some consideration to take into account and data should be entered in a certain manner for best results.

1. Each therapist will have a "code" or "number" in PTOS. All therapists entered in the QuickEMR system should also be assigned that same code.

2. CPT or Procedure codes and descriptions entered into PTOS should match those entered into QuickEMR.

 

To set up PTOS for the interface, set the Path to QuickEMR in PTOS to the "PTOS" folder located under your practice folder that is located in the main data folder for QuickEMR. This would be something like the following:

C:\Program Files\QuickEMR\Data\EZPT\PTOS

There is only one step to perform in QuickEMR. Under File->Options and then on the Billing tab, select the PTOS option button as shown below.
