If a script is entered for a case, the visits remaining are calculated
automatically and other scheduling features will start to become active.
- When case is scheduled, the visits remaining is decreased by 1. If
the patient cancels or does not show and the appointment status is changed to
reflect this, the remaining visits will increase by 1.
- Once the script gets to 3 or fewer visits remaining, a message box will
appear on the appointment book each time the case is scheduled to warn the
user that the case has "x visits remaining". It will not stop the user from
scheduling the case, however.
- If a script end date is entered, the system will also warn a user if they
are scheduling a case outside of the script end date. It will not stop the
user from scheduling the case, however.
- Script information will appear in the Appointment Info box on the main
appointment book screen and also on the Chart
for the patient.
- If there is more than 1 script entered for a case, the system will use the
latest script on file for calculations and will ignore the previous script.
