EMR - Discharge Summary

When a Discharge Summary for a case is created, the "Inactive/Discharged" field on the case record is automatically updated as "checked" to note that the case is no longer active. This prevents the case record from showing in active lists.


The Discharge Summary screen also functions in the exact same manner as the Progress Note. The only difference is that the first tab on the Discharge Summary contains different text fields than the Progress Note.
