QuickEMR is a Multiple Document Interface (MDI). This means that within the main menu, multiple windows can be opened at the same time. For example, the Appointment Book, Address list, and multiple patient notes could be opened all at once within the main menu.
This main menu shown below is where navigation begins in the program. There are also shortcut picture buttons located in below the menu for faster navigation to specific areas of the system. Hold the mouse over a picture button for a Tooltip to appear stating what the button is for.
The status bar at the bottom of the screen will display the user who is currently logged in along with the available free memory on the computer and the current time.
