This screen allows the addition of a new Practice to the system. This should not be confused with adding a new Facility to the system. A practice can be compared to a company and a facility to an office of a company.
QuickEMR comes with a Training practice already in the system. Normally, you will only add your own practice once to the system.
Enter the name of your practice and then a Code for the practice. The code is usually a short 3-5 character code to simply identify the practice. A new folder will be created under the main data folder corresponding to the code selected for the office. A blank database will be copied to that folder.
Once you have created the practice, open the practice and then edit the practice information.
