Scheduling Options

These are options that affect the way the Appointment Book functions. Detail of the options are found below.

Minimum Row Height	Specifies the minimum height for time slot rows on the Appointment Book. The default value is "300".
Background Colors	Allows the customization of background status colors on the Appointment Book screen. Simply click the color palette beside each status and choose a color to chage it. It is suggested that lighter colors be used for status colors since the text of the appointment is usually a darker color.

Schedule multiple patients in the same time slot	This option permits scheduling more than one patient in a time slot for a single therapist.
Use Check In/Check Out	If checked, appointment status options include Check In, Being Seen, and Check Out. When the Check In or Check Out status is assigned to an appointment, the time is also captured by the system. If this option is not checked, there is a single status of "Show" to indicate that a patient was present for an appointment.
Verify Assigned Provider	This option will verify that the therapist a patient is being scheduled with matches the assigned provider in the patient's case record.
Verify Schedule Date with Visit Note Date	This option is only used if you are using the EMR documentation portion of the program. With this option selected, when a note is being entered, the system verifies that there was an appointment scheduled to match the note date the therapist has on the documentation note. If there is not a match, QuickEMR will display a warning, but does not stop the user from saving the note.
Bold lines between time slots for multiple appointments	If the option to schedule multiple appointments in the same time slot is checked (see above), this option will place bold lines around time slots where those multiple patients are scheduled. This option simply makes the appointment book a little easier to view.
