These options mainly deal with documentation (EMR) settings and some system wide global settings. Details on the functions of each option are found below.

Allow users to build their own Master Lists When therapists document and add items to the Master Pick Lists, the lists can start to become very lengthy and it can be difficult for therapists to find exactly what they are looking for. With this option turned on, each user can build their own personal lists for all of the pick lists found in the EMR system. This can make it easier to manage the pick lists and faster for therapists to locate an item they have entered into the list themselves. This feature is especially useful for practices with more than four or five therapists.
Use HCFA 700 Forms With this option selected, a tab named "HCFA 700" will appear under the documentation when going to Documentation->EMR. When a 700 or 701 form is added by clicking the "New" button, the form will get populated automatically with information that was entered on the evaluation, care plan, and/or progress note. The 700 and 701 forms can still be edited, however.
Show patient signature line on Care Plan By turning on this option, a line will appear on the Care Plan for the patient to sign.
Print Eval and Care Plan together This option allows the printing of the Care Plan and the Evaluation as one report. When printing the Evaluation, ONLY the Evaluation will print. When attempting to print a Care Plan, a message box will appear asking if you would like to print the Evaluation and Care Plan as one report. Simply select "Yes" to do so.
Show Physician agreement on notes (this will be the system default value, however, this option can also be set on each individual Care Plan when it is opened and printed) When selected, check boxes will appear on the Care Plan, Progress Note, and Re-Evaluation for the physician to mark as Agree or Do Not Agree with the treatment plan provided. Blank liines will also appear for the physician to explain. The physician agreement will only show if the Show Physician Signature is also checked.
Show Physician signature on notes (this will be the system default value, however, this option can also be set on each individual Care Plan when it is opened and printed) When selected, a line will appear on EMR note reports for the referring physician to sign.
Print Goals on Progress Notes If checked, goals entered on the Care Plan will also print out on the Progress Notes.
Print prior measurements on Progress Notes (this will be the system default value, however, this option can also be set on each individual Progress Note when it is opened and printed) This option will print the prior measurements along with the current measurements from Daily Visit Notes for comparison purposes.
Show Fax Back box on notes This option will show a "Please fax back to ..." box on the Care Plan, Progress Note and on the Evaluation + Care Plan report. The Fax Back box will contain the facility fax number and address for mailing purposes. The Fax Back box will NOT appear if the Show Physician signature option is not checked. It is assumed that if the physician does not have to sign the note, it does not need to be faxed back.
Manually enter visits on Progress Notes This option is only for users who do not entere Daily Visit Notes. It allows users to manually key in the number of visits and no shows instead of the system tracking the counts automatically based on the Daily Visit Notes.
Lock Completed Notes When set, users who are not marked as administrators cannot modify a patient note after it has been marked as complete.
"Provider" Label Throughout the system, the word "Therapist" is used to refer to the therapist treating the patient. Some users preferred the word "Provider" instead. This option allows you to set it as you wish.

Default State
